Re: Totally beyond me - too old and technically challenged

My 9 year old grandson is starting to leave me behind where the PC is concerned.
He comes across a problem, asks me for a solution, then takes that newly acquired knowledge and builds on it, applying it to new problems in a very creative way.
I just enjoy sitting back and watch it all develop and wonder where it will lead. Cool

Re: Totally beyond me - too old and technically challenged

I was told by a 13 year old last week that I shouldn't use email any more as it's no longer 'In'.  Guess it's all down to facebook, Twitter etc. Smiley

Re: Totally beyond me - too old and technically challenged

Makes me wish I was 40 odd years younger, I started building an Acorn Atom back in 1979, slaving over a hot soldering iron for many nights.
These days, it is all build (mostly) and you can concentrate on coding.I enjoy playing with my pi's and arduio's but getting the enthusiasm to actually build something is lacking sadly.
