Top marks to Asda

Just been to Asda this morning, they have increased the parking bays by a considerable amount, between each parking space there is a further 18" wide box marked out between each parking space so plenty of room even for those 4x4's

Hope other retails catch on, no doubt they will have lost a number of spaces in doing this but clearly it is a issue with customers.

Must be annoying if you return from shopping to find scratches or dints in your car caused by another driver although not really a problem for me as my car is so old I would be unlikely to notice

James has the same problem with our Roller. It makes it difficult for him to open the doors for us.

Now Zen, but a +Net residue.

Not a problem with my Lamborghini Murciélago as the door open upwards.

Rolls Royce, Lamborghini you're all just showing off now, but it doesn't bother me either way as I don't need a parking space for my skateboard.

Re: Top marks to Asda

I do often wonder who the heck designs the layout of these car parks. We have a two door Fiesta which make getting in and out for this pensioner quite difficult at times so much so, that I tend to park much further away from the entrance to places than I'd like to - but I guess we can't have everything.

As for those 4x4 drivers, I thought they all went to Waitrose! Wink

Similar with my DeLorean but when there still isn't enough space I just travel forward in time to when the annoying other customers are all tucked up in bedCheesy

It was a 1923 Leica O Series so I thought it was time to get a more modern camera now we are in the digital age.

Still have change in my pocket following purchase of the above car....

@Mav  Do you also travel back in time to benefit from 1971 prices and find yourself accidentally mentioning the internet and being looked at like you've escaped from the local institution?

That's exactly why I used that year; you'd arouse suspicion trying to pay in decimal money in earlier years.
