On the subject of technology, my broadband speeds seem to be low.  I think it may be the wiring.
I've taken a shot of my current set up below - do you think I would benefit from a faceplate?  My attenuation should be quite low becuase it's a fairly short line.

As long as the string is wet you should be OK; broadband works (though slower) down 1 conductor.

think I have solved the problem Craig, get one person to stand and the other person to suffer the low connection and it will probably be a nice tight connection  Cool

If the tins formerly contained Madras Curry sauce you can be sure of a fast connection Wink
On the OP subject I do find it depressing how the rest of the world is able to contact me whenever and wherever regardless.
I have no excuse for not finishing that report as I have access to work any time.
Holidays don't hold quite the same appeal when you can't 'get away from it all'  Sad
