Thunderbird email

Has any other user of Thunderbird had any problems with when including web links or email addresses in the text of a mail, that they arrive to the recipient broken and won't link?
I've noticed afterwards in my outbox copy that a link may be blue underlined for maybe only half or less of the length of the web link or address although the link is actually correctly typed.

I'm also using version 17.0.8

Re: Thunderbird email

Its very intermittent, maybe once in a dozen or so added links.Oddly it seems Ok when typing, but when I check the outbox my copy will appear broken as well.
