I can just imagine `suggestion no.4` - tiling a shed roof with them.
The mind boggles.
Wonder whether he had in mind just one colour or multi colours?

<rant on> They aren't floppies as they don't flop - floppies were 5 1/4" and were flexible. Stiffies were 3 1//2" and were - well - stiff <rant off>  Roll eyes Grin

Re: Things people do with floppy disks......

thats a small one, my DEC PDP11 had ones about 24" dia,  we had a head crash that cost us a small function getting a specialist lot out to read the discs, think that was in the early 80's

I still have a hole lowed of floppy disks for my old Apple MacIntoshs.
Plus some 5¼" floppy disks.

Re: Things people do with floppy disks......

Me too, though not for an Apple Mac, I had to buy an external 31/2" drive when I first bought this laptop as all my stuff was on that format, fortunately I'd already transferred my stuff from 51/4".
