Funny thing flag flying. Not my sort of thing but, rules is rules I guess.

I wonder if she had planning permission for that flag pole? Wink

Council leader Richard Jackson said there had been a complaint and officials were obliged to enforce the law.

There really are some small-minded and petty people around.

I'd say a Christmas flag refers to a temporary event taking place in the house and thus falls within the allowable categories.

I'm pleased to see that there are no restrictions on flying the EU flag. Will put an order in for a flagpole and large EU flag.

If councils were run efficiently they would not be spending money on staff who have the time to be dealing with things like this.

There are far more important matters councils should be focusing on other than minor issues like this
