Theme Tunes.

What is your favorite theme tune ever?

Mine?

Van de Valk from the early 70s and 'Eye Level'

One of those tunes liked at the first time of hearing - well it was for me anyway. 🙂

Re: Theme Tunes.

If you've viewed the youtube for The Sweeney you'll see Van der Valk at 0:19!

Re: Theme Tunes.

A Touch Of Velvet -  A Sting of Brass, used by Simon Dee on Radio Luxenbourg among others.

Has to be the Mood Mosaic version, though, not the insipid Ron Grainer one.

Re: Theme Tunes.

The BBC series Cardiac Arrest. They only used that for the first series sadly.

Better not post any links or I will get told off.

There if you do a search, I like it still now.

EDIT: Yey, within the caldenstine 15 minute limit. So here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NSE8aaV7zNE&list=PLB10102D1736FEAC5
