The weight of grief.

The weight of grief.

Grief never leaves you, it becomes part of you.

I have lost so many love ones in my life, the latest one was the love of my life Angela who passed away on 28th August 2016.

Re: The weight of grief.

That's a powerful image there and so sorry to read about your loss.

I cannot even begin to imagine how I would feel if I had to say goodbye to a loved one, life has been kind enough so far to spare me such grief. My parents have long gone now and their passing was a celebration of a life well lived, but to lose a wife or child must be almost unbearable so I wonder if, in your own imagination, you can take that weight off bit and throw one of those stones into the sea each day.

It takes time as it should, but time will make your grief lighter to carry.

Re: The weight of grief.

Thank you so much for your kind words.

It's more the case of feeling that, bits of me will disappear with the sands of time.
