@gleneagles  I seem to remember that manual workers were at one time entitled by law to be paid in cash.  I've only had one cash pay packet and that was when a new employer hadn't had sufficient time to set it up to be paid by BACS.

See Post #5 Truck Acts....enacted among other things to prevent payment in kind or vouchers. Think Sixteen tons song.

No one has to agree with my opinion, but in the time I have left a miracle would be nice.
