The best Care Home

It seems like the inmates of the best Care Home in London have been a bit naughty today.

There's a petition to bring them under control https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/170686

Now Zen, but a +Net residue.

Duly signed sir. Thumbs Up

Good to see the Lords doing their best to keep the unelected prime minister in check.

Re: The best Care Home

In the UK we do not elect the Prime Minister, we elect MPs who elect a leader as the Prime Minister. Do stay awake at the back of the room.

I think maybe you are the one who has been asleep. After all, she wasn't elected by MPs, was she? She became PM when she was conveniently the only remaining candidate. Or maybe you think single candidate elections are the way forward.

Re: The best Care Home

Ah grasshopper. Try to name one UK Prime Minister who was elected by the electorate?

Re: The best Care Home

I think I was quite clear in saying that she was not elected as PM by MPs. I made no mention of the electorate, so I'm afraid I don't see the relevance of your question.

In your dreams. And from the things you have been posting here, they appear to be very strange dreams.

Re: The best Care Home

The Lords does not have any powers to direct the government. All they can do is advise. The government can choose to ignore any decision they make.

@notinmyname

When did you last vote for a prime minister, or for the House of Lords come to that?

All views expressed are my own but you can express them too if you want to be right about everything like I am.
