The Strange & Curious Tale of the Last True Hermit

Quote
For nearly thirty years, a phantom haunted the woods of Central Maine. Unseen and unknown, he lived in secret, creeping into homes in the dead of night and surviving on what he could steal. To the spooked locals, he became a legend—or maybe a myth. They wondered how he could possibly be real. Until one day last year, the hermit came out of the forest

A definitely strange story but his most telling words has to be "I am alive and sane, at least I think I'm sane."

He was a thief who stole off others to survive. Poor chap must of been in dire straits to want to be totally alone in the world, must of been sick of all the bs the world has lol.

According to him he never got ill because he wasn't in other humans company.

I understand that, it was his interpretation,
However living in the elements, makes one wonder how he never got so much as a sniffle in the winter months

Interesting read, feel sorry for the guy as he will have problems both in and out of prison unless he gets some help.
