Re: The Rat Pack

I still remember as a kid watching Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis in their musicals, Martin was the perfect straight guy to Lewis in those films.

Re: The Rat Pack

I remember, in my young drawing office days, my boss going to see Sammy Davis Jnr do a 2 hour live show in London. He thought it was the greatest show he'd ever seen and I can believe him.
The Rat Pack went right to the top with people like Kennedy's brother in law, English actor Peter Lawford.

Re: The Rat Pack

If you like her then look out for 'Liza's at the Palace'.  It's out on DVD next month.  The show has won a Tony and up for a Grammy at the end of the month.  I've seen some clips and it's well worth a look Smiley

Re: The Rat Pack

Little Johnny's teacher told his class that if they could answer her questions each Friday, then they would not have to come to school on Monday.
The first week the teacher asked, "How many blades of grass are on the football field?". Of course no one knew the answer, so the children had to come to school on Monday.
The next week the teacher asked "How many grains of sand are on the beach?" Once again, nobody knew the answer, so they had to come to school on Monday again.
By the third week, Little Johnny was getting tired of coming to school on Monday. So right before the teacher asked the question, Little Johnny rolled a pair of 8 balls from a pool table down the aisle of desks.
"OK who's the comedian with the black balls!?!" shouted the teacher. Little Johnny replied "Sammy Davis Jnr Miss - see ya Tuesday!"
