What's more to the point is why didn't the protection relays trip the circuit out? Looks like a dodgy installation to me!

I don't think these lines on Google Maps are 240 volt and I passed under them this evening.

No, they're definitely in the hudreds of KiloVolts, but they're also professionally fitted at a safe distance away fron the road, unlike the video where they're strung up on wood poles over roads where any numpty can drive into them causing the light show as seen in the footage... Smiley
