The Lib-Dems are getting Cable

Forget ADSL and Fibre, the Lib-Dems are set to get Cable.

Whilst they were vociferous in their condemnation of Mrs May becoming Concervative leader due to the other remaining candidate dropping out, they are seemingly quite happy for their own leader to be "unelected".

Re: The Lib-Dems are getting Cable

well if no-one else puts their name forward then what are they supposed to do.
they can't force someone to stand in opposition to the other person that chose to stand.

Wrap up the Lib-Dem organisation and stick it in the bin of history?

Re: The Lib-Dems are getting Cable

i'm sure the people who voted for them would have something to say about that.

12 MPs, so clearly more than 82,000 people voted for them.
and the 5 MSPs thrown in the mix too.

unless you are denying them democracy?

Re: The Lib-Dems are getting Cable

Reckon we need a new party composed of moderate Tory and Labour MPs, and the Lib-Dems.  Ought to be someone in that lot who would make a good leader!

It could be called the Common Sense Party.

Re: The Lib-Dems are getting Cable

We already have a common sense party founded in 2003. I have been thinking about entering the fray and you would be surprised how a lot of names for parties have been taken!!

Re: The Lib-Dems are getting Cable

And what point are you trying to make?
I can see what I said.

Are your saying that 2.3 million votes don't count just because you think the party is useless?

Re: The Lib-Dems are getting Cable

Hmm, so, the “democratic” party hasn’t actually elected their new leader, the same one that wants to overturn the democratic vote to leave the EU?

Of course, it all makes sense. Roll eyes

Re: The Lib-Dems are getting Cable

Clegg was constantly shouting about proportional representation when it came to election time.

Clearly Cable does not share that view when it comes to Britexit.
