The Fourth Kind Movie.

I am not easily scared by movies. I sometimes watch movies alone in a dark room beside a window with headphones. I have to say parts of this movie were very good, worth watching if you like a good fright.
It deals with a very interesting topic, one that I personally would definitely not dismiss.

Re: The Fourth Kind Movie.

But it wasn't real as it was made out to be, in fact the actress who played the 'real' psychologist woman is this woman here http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2598903/ she's called Charlotte Milchard and she played Abigail Tyler in the film, and even though she's not listed in the credits it's most definitely her.

Not seen this movie but did catch up this week with Shutter Island.  It's directed by Martin Scorsese and stars Leonardo DiCaprio.  Very good movie with an intriguing ending. Well worth seeing.

Re: The Fourth Kind Movie.

Yes, some aspects of The Fourth Kind didn't add up for me and I couldn't find any information about this story when I looked up Nome, Alaska.
Still I think it was very entertaining and worth watching for anyone into that sort of movie.
It reminds me of a controversial BBC "documentary" on Halloween night 1992 called Ghost watch. Being 12 years old at the time I believed every bit and was disturbed for days  Grin
I think the BBC got a bit of a slap on the wrist for that one!

Re: The Fourth Kind Movie.

Lol, I do agree the Fourth Kind was a fairly decent movie but it was obvious a lot of it was faked, and that Ghost Watch your talking about I watched it as well and I was only 11 as well back in 1992! It disturbed me then and even now I think it's real lol, never got it out of my mind since that day when I watched it when (if I remember correctly) Michael Parkinson went into the cupboard under the stairs and got locked in it or was it the woman? I can't remember her name though.

Re: The Fourth Kind Movie.

It was Sarah Greene who got locked under the stairs:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghostwatch
I was tempted recently to get this on DVD but I imagine I would find it really cheesy now. Despite the controversy or maybe because of it, Ghost Watch was a fantastic bit of television. It will be talked about for years.

Re: The Fourth Kind Movie.

I actually downloaded Ghost Watch ages ago (legally because it's a TV programme and I have paid for a TV license to watch it on my TV) but I don't even know where it is now! And the reason I downloaded it is HAVE YOU SEEN THE PRICE OF IT!! lol http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ghostwatch-DVD-Michael-Parkinson-II/dp/B00007JGG0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&q... used from £30 or new from £62, sod that it's expensive enough for a TV license you have to pay for to sit and watch crap on the box.
By the way off topic I know  Roll eyes but just been looking at your website in particular here http://www.seanbranagh.ie/networking/ very impressive, good job  Cool
