The Downsides of Summer

[Grumble]

Here we go.

Good weather arrives and we have loud music with thumping bass from an open window somewhere in the area.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of music but I prefer my own to someone else's and keep mine to myself and don't inflict it on others.

I'm with you there Ginger sorry....Paul but I suspect a referendum on the issue would leave us in the minority.

Re: The Downsides of Summer

While you have people playing music out their windows, in my area about 4 doors down is a family with 3 or 4 banger cars in the garden and most of the weekend is spent revving the engine over... and over.. and over.. and over .. gah! The sunny weather means that they will be doing this all the time now Sad

Time to fire up the EMP generator complete with a parabolic focussing dish. "Click"... "Ah, silence."

Now Zen, but a +Net residue.

Re: The Downsides of Summer

You call that a problem? Damn... Huh

I get an itchy rash from being mildly allergic to the sun, have to dose up on some extra-strong antihistmines to stay outside all day, at least with music you can put headphones on and listen to your own... Grin

Re: The Downsides of Summer

Headphones are a bit uncomfortable on a hot night in bed (should I rephrase that Embarrassed)

I could use earplugs but the low frequencies get through.

I have laid in bed at night listening to the thump thump and plotting means of disabling their sound system that would fit right into a Daesh Handbook.

If it's that bad, call the council and have a noise abatement notice slapped in their faces... Grin
