The DOS date problem

My request to switch to the unlimited product in early January 2013
says that it will start from 01/01/1970.
Does this mean that Plusnet will refund me an amount between 1970 and the invention of the internet?  Cheesy

1/1/1970 was a good year,  and the start of time for Unix (the C epoch)...
And like some peoples interpretation of the Myan calendar,  the world end in January 2038 according to C time.
