Re: Thatcher dead

Personally Gary I think you're out of order, like her or not to wish her dead really is not very nice.

Re: Thatcher dead

Sorry but I have to agree with Adie. I wouldn't in all honesty wish anyone dead.

Gary, you should consider your comments and perhaps apologise for them.

Re: Thatcher dead

Why does Gary get a slap for agreeing with the sentiment expressed by Jeremy?
(Whilst I wouldn't wish anyone dead, I won't mourn her passing. A lot of the economic problems of the last couple of years are a consequence of the Thatcher years)

Maybe because he personalised it John.

The emoticon implied Jeremy was been humorous.

Re: Thatcher dead

When I said:-
Quote from: Axisofevil
Widespread disappointment occurred throughout the land. Smiley

[sorry for the full quote, but I wouldn't want any interpretation to taken out of context]
The  Smiley was inserted because of the archaic language in my quote.
If Thatcher should suffer a long, painful death (like many mining villages) - then I would not be sorry.
Note the absence of any smiley characters.

Re: Thatcher dead

I would not wish anyone dead - they are after all a human with family and friends etc etc
However I wish Thatcher had been equally considerate in the way she deal with people
I just hope she doesn't get a grand funeral at our expense
