Well no not really, as who writes their memoirs at the relatively tender age of thirty six?

I'd thought such things were written it the Autumn of our years when we reflected on our lives,

I was going to say that I was sure Jordan (aka Katie Price) had 'written' a couple of autobiographies by that age but looking it up I was amazed to find that she'd actually 'written' SIX by that age.  Three years later there was yet another one with the title Reborn.  I suppose that means many more are to follow.

Adding her eleven novels I'm surprised she found time to marry three times.

@Jonpe

I'm thinking at least one of those must have been called "Thanks for the mammaries".

IMO, as well as ridiculous silicone 'enhancements', Botox is a mugs game as many of the, especially young, women who think they are improving their looks are just making themselves look as if they've had a rubber dinghy stuck on their faces.  If only they realised.  Roll_eyes

@Jonpe

I don't see how any of these people find the time to write anything besides, are they not mostly ghost written?

Re: Thanks for the memoirs

I wouldn't be at all surprised if half of them have never even read their own, ghost written, book.

Re: Thanks for the memoirs

@Minivanman, you don't think someone of such elevated status is going to risk breaking a nail tapping away at a keyboard, do you?

@billnotben, yes, it must be fun reading your 'auto'-biography and discovering lots of things you didn't know about yourself.  They probably think auto in this case means it's been written in a car.

Re: Thanks for the memoirs

One of the advantages of lockdown is that all those celebs have been able to find time to read 'their' memoirs.

@Jonpe

Sums it up nicely and in a humorous way.

The lad (Harry that is) does sound like sound like damaged goods though.

Re: Thanks for the memoirs

What do you expect when Charles ditched his Mum for "Horse Face" Camilla when Harry was barely out of Nappies?

Do you see? Cheesy

Re: Thanks for the memoirs

I wonder who actually reads / checks the books. There must be many that do this ghost writing thing and I wonder if any are ever tempted to add something of their own.

Considering the people involved I doubt if I could resist it.

@MrAllen2021

Harry barely out of nappies?

I suggest you check your facts before posting, it really is not difficult these these days - just lazy if you don't.

@billnotben

One would hope they proof read it first before it goes to print - or at least have one of their minions read it to them.OIP.jpg
