Re: Testing of SMF polling options

I checked ticking more than 3 and it correctly rejected the Vote and returned me to the poll.

Re: Testing of SMF polling options

But it does allow me to vote multiple times?

Re: Testing of SMF polling options

I set the option to allow you to change your vote - you can remove it and vote again.

Re: Testing of SMF polling options

I see that.  But after I corrected my vote to be only three candidates, when I returned to the Topic, I had the Poll option present, so I recorded a second single vote for candidate 2 (or maybe 3).  Odd.
Now I can only see the option to 'change your vote' and that seems to work.

Re: Testing of SMF polling options

Oooh - just noticed something. The candidates I've voted for are shown in bold - neat!

Re: Testing of SMF polling options

Hah! The remove vote option has disappeared when I edited the poll to correct the typo on one of the candidate names - an SMF bug!

Re: Testing of SMF polling options

Could someone confirm that it is still allowing you to vote for up to 3 candidates.

Re: Testing of SMF polling options

Jelv,
I just went onto your poll and added the ability to change vote and the option to remove vote is now back.

Re: Testing of SMF polling options

Should I be able to "view results" before voting - because I can!

Re: Testing of SMF polling options

Yes.  There's an option within the poll to allow people to view the results or not.

Re: Testing of SMF polling options

That's an option I could have set (but didn't).
Edit: For the real poll I think the third option (which only becomes available if you have set an end date) would be most appropriate.
