Says the poster who admits to baiting others and reeling them in... or at least trying to. A bad example accusing others? You just couldn't make it up.

Re: Tesco Home Delivery

I'm sure if Laegen felt in any way put upon they would simply say so.

Those that assume they are, aren't they just using that as a pretense, an excuse, to "attack" others.

No room for doubt there as they are clearly "attacking" others.

I put it all down to brexit envy.😀

Deflecting mulch would be more accurate.

Re: Tesco Home Delivery

The granary bread shortage at Tesco continues, only four loaves today (Hovis Granary thick sliced).

Re: Tesco Home Delivery

Whatever the bread I love it when it's still warm when you pick it up. For me a nice thick crust with butter on.

I could mention sometimes marmite on it. But that might be opening a can of worms on this thread.

Oops I did.

Re: Tesco Home Delivery

I'm no great fan of Marmite but I'd prefer it to worms, canned or fresh, any day.

Re: Tesco Home Delivery

Given the choice of worms or marmite, I'll take the worms thanks!!! 🤢

I received the two Granary loaves I ordered in my Home Delivery today.

(Though none previous delivery)

But they had loads in store when I went there, on an early morning flying visit.

I also now order a Tesco Toastie as backup, that brings back fond memories of Toasted White Bread, an occasional treat, in the old days !

Every item I ordered was delivered today, the delivery driver battling it out through the inclement weather.

Very helpful, as always, bagging items up for me, in my excellent Tesco Jute (like Hessian) bags.

Come on Dennis...... bring it on !

Re: Tesco Home Delivery

I do keep a couple of Granary Loaves in a freezer, along with Toastie slices, just in case.

The Granary thaws quite nicely into soft Sandwich bread.

Both toasted from frozen work fine.

Re: Tesco Home Delivery

Enough already of this virus avoiding Tesco delivery promotion. Even my favourite giddy Aunt has gone for a lay down!

Ah yeah I know, I don't have to read 'em 😛
