Re: Tesco Home Delivery

It's rats that really pong when they die, ugh, one year a rat (poisoned by a neighbour) died right outside my shed in the garden and the stench was so bad I couldn't go near the thing for weeks until it subsided........ 🤢

Re: Tesco Home Delivery

If you ever come across huge numbers of flies in a shed or garage full of junk it's often because there's an ex-mouse/rat/cat in there somewhere.

@twocvbloke

Why didn't you just scoop it up with a shovel rather than having it hanging around for weeks?

Re: Tesco Home Delivery

If you've never experienced the scent of a rotting rat, you probably wouldn't understand, suffice to say, if you did then your stomach contents would be joining the rat in rotting... 🤢

Re: Tesco Home Delivery

I've smelt it several times, usually just hold my breath for the short time taken to scoop it up.

Luckily not found one yet in a Tesco delivery ...

Re: Tesco Home Delivery

Not to worry @Lægen, but I did read about a dead baby rat being found by a customer as she was unpacking one of those delivery trays. 😉

Re: Tesco Home Delivery

I usually use a mouse with my computer; is a rat the new improved version?

Re: Tesco Home Delivery

@Jonpe   No,.... the Rat, is the old version... far too big and cumbersome nowadays...

the Mouse , has replaced it... however... you can now get smaller versions, called a Mini Mouse..

But do not contact Hollywood for one ! ! ...

Re: Tesco Home Delivery

My computer mouse is a special laptop version so is a little smaller than the standard ones, does that count as a Mini Mouse?

Re: Tesco Home Delivery

Dennis the Menace is on its way, plus  Weather Forecast for Wednesday is Ice, Snow, Hail, Wind, Freezing temperatures !!!

Decision made.

Tesco Home Delivery #3

Late booking so this one costs £3, worth every penny.

Nice & warm house, dress for Winter for the 5 minutes of delivery.

Hallway has doors either end, cold contained.

Then back inside to sample the Hot Chocolate and Crumpets just ordered.

Plus, no contact with those pesky snivelling snotty feverish humans out shopping.

And no Cats, Rats nor Elephants.
