So once lockdown ends how many of these delivery drivers going to lose their jobs?
The good news, lockdown is history.
The bad news, so are you.
@Minivanman Hmm... Don`t think there will be "that" many.... as people will have got used to the convenience of having a convenience store on the mobile or laptop at home... no queues.... no getting soaking wet loading the stuff in the car... or out when home .... more time to go to the gym... or whatever...

You may well be right there @shutter and pretty much what my Mrs was saying earlier when we were chatting about it so hopefully not to many job losses - although there are bound to be some as people have a need to socialize even if it is only down at the shop or supermarket.
Don't limit the friends you haven't met with arguments you'll never have.

Asda let me down yet again... home delivery.
3 days before delivery, many ordered items now OOS !!!
Good old Tesco, booked the same slot, just 3 days away.
Just a few items I wanted from ASDA, not any more !
HOWEVER....
We made a trip to our local ASDA Superstore today.. 11am
No queues to enter the store.
Quite busy, but not overly so.
Staff member by door handing out free face masks. And on a nearby table, Hand sanitiser, trolley wipes.
The store has wide aisles so no problem with social distancing.
It was well stocked, we managed to purchase all the items ASDA home delivery had failed to deliver, and then some.
It's a nice drive in the countryside to get there, so in future, Home Deliveries from Tesco, occasional store visits to ASDA.
As for Marmite, shtter BOGOF.
And our favourite Champagne was reduced in price, so we bought a few bottles.
We have rented a delightful country cottage for the Summer, and will be celebrating in style, with hopefully a few friends visiting, if allowed.
We won't be cooking steak in a toaster though.
There is apparently an excellent Michelin starred restaurant nearby, that currently does home delivery of cooked meals.
That may change as Covid restrictions are lifted.
(BTW once posted, I do not revisit threads, unless I have something new to add, so the usual inane comment from the persistent troll (D.O.G.) are completely wasted.)
Cue S.O.G........
