Would have thought the good folk of Middlesbrough deserved something better than this after all the effort they have put into the Steel and Shipbuilding over the years.

Strat and Oddball have hit the nail on the head.
No way is that an interesting structure, it is a waste of space and money at: £2.7m, that would have payed for the upkeep of Impasse for over 2 years.  I hope that the rest of them are put in the bin where they belong.

Looking at that  photo it reminds me of berf control.

I wonder how long that sow called sculpture will last, I have a sneaky feeling that it will be demolished with in 5 years, and sold off as scrap metal, no way will it bring £2.7m in scrap metal.

I put in to googles images female condom and it is a female condom, so I definitely would not be surprised if Middlesbrough was known as the Town with the biggest female condom in the world.
