Tegola Project

Quote
Sheep farmer Iain Wilson lives in one of the most remote places in Britain. There are no roads and no mains power, but he does have a broadband connection.
That is thanks to the Tegola project, which beams wireless broadband from a college based on the Isle of Skye across the water to Mr Wilson's home on the Knoydart peninsula.
Rory Cellan-Jones went to visit the farm to see how broadband has impacted life there.

Re: Tegola Project

I Saw this on the news and the chap mentioned superfast broadband but I wonder what sort of speed such a connection would provide and if it would be subject to interference. ?
