Tefal Quickcup Kettle

Anyone else got one of these? Like having a vending machine in your kitchen!
I was talking to james and inbetween replies i managed to do a pot noodle - it took me 14 seconds which included getting it out the kitchen and filling it with water
These kettles are not new technology but dam handy to have! - and £40 which is not bad
it's put my electricity bill down by £50 a quarter as instead of waiting 3 1/2 minutes for the kettle to boil it is so fast it can knock out 39 cups in the same amount of time - and trust me i've tried it!

[me=MikeWhitehead]looks for a hobby for Pete Tongue[/me]
Do they really reduce your bill by £50 p/q? That's quite a reduction just from boiling water! How often do you use a kettle though? Might be a fair bit more than I do Tongue

Re: Tefal Quickcup Kettle

Well my bills are now down to £85 a quarter - it works like a combi boiler so it's fast
The adverage kettle uses 2800kw for 3 1/2 mins roughly
Our kettle is used about 20-25 times a day

Re: Tefal Quickcup Kettle

The guys at Currys said they have one in their staff room, my wife has one at work so easier when you only have 15 minutes for a break or want hot water fast.
I use ours to fill up a pan prior to boiling it - saves time and gas

Re: Tefal Quickcup Kettle

that's just the same as the quick cup but that one just does the right amount of water for what you tell it to
where as the quickcup boils the water as it goes through and you can stop it at any time
Put it this way.. im impressed with that i have, and its saving energy and money. can the eco jug fill a cup with hot water in under 10 seconds? that's the question

Well I can't it can't be much worse than the state ITV now is Sad
I hardly watch TV since I moved out (and stupidly enough bought a nice TV before I realised how awful TV has now become). Still if it wasn't for DVD's I don't think I'd ever switch it on at all now!
