Tablet Recommendations

I'm looking for a new tablet computer, it will be used for mainly 

• Playing Hearthstone
• Streaming YouTube/Twitch/Netflix
• Searching the internet
• Maybe watching movies

I saw an advert for the Kindle Fire 7 8GB and at £34.99 and thought i'd take a look but whilst it's a fantastic little piece of kit it's not quite what I'm after.

I'm leaning towards the Nvidia Shield does anyone have any experience with this device or an other devices i should consider?

Well that's a lot of dosh compared to the Kindle, but if it's a game player you are after I'm surprised it's even in the frame. Had my Kindle Fire 7 for some time and as you say it's a fantastic piece of kit - it certainly ticks all my boxes.

Not a gamer m'self but the stuff out of China seems to be making a name for itself and much still fairly cheap?

In fairness the Kindle almost does the job, it made me really consider the Kindle 10, but thats £150 and at that price point It's not far from the shield.

Just found out that the Shield K1 Gaming tablet has been discontinued
