TVGuide

I use TVGuide.co.uk but today BBC1 and BBC2, normally at the top of the list, are not showing anywhere.
I've checked my setting which have BBC1 & 2 SE ticked. I resaved settings but still not there.
Anyone else seeing this?

Re: TVGuide

@Mav, do you have to register to use this guide?

Re: TVGuide

No.
I have found it quite useful as you can modify the layout to suit.
Edit: There is an option to register but have no idea of any benefits from doing so.

Re: TVGuide

I haven`t registerd.... but my version is different to yours... and there is a change with all those red hearts making it difficult to read now... so looking around for something else...
As you see.. BBC1 and BBC2 seem to have disappeared...  Undecided

Re: TVGuide

Just had a scan at your original and if you scroll down to the bottom of the listings.... there is a white box.... "Add channel"... so looks like you have to add your "LOCAL" BBC station(s) manually....

Re: TVGuide

Yay... I did too, and I got a load of stations I cant get.... RTE  one  etc  ( Radio Television Eire .... in Portsmouth  ? ?? )  so I have now got this one as my guide
http://tvlistings.guardian.co.uk/
Different layout... but you set your tv area and your supplier (freeview/sky etc) and then you click on the prog description to see what is the content... a new page opens (rather than the small box on tvguide).... and for soaps, like emmerdale, you can actually watch previous episodes in a "catch up" box,  very handy....  better than tv guide...
I do wish they would put the channel numbers on the stations listings, though....

Re: TVGuide

Thanks for that.
But I really liked TVGuide.co.uk, why did they have to mess with it? Cry

Re: TVGuide

Better still... have this one....
http://www.radiotimes.com/tv/tv-listings
Much simpler layout... with channels listed similar to TV guide.... also clicking on the prog opens a new page with info... and scroll down , you can get "spoilers"... i.e. what is coming up in the future on the soaps.... ( never want to know that really )...

Re: TVGuide

I swear by TV-Browser.
By far the best TV-Guide there is, you download info, and use it off line.
Takes a bit of setting up, but well worth it in the end.
It is so versatile.
I run 3 separate versions for Freeview, SKY  & Films, they can all be open at the same time too.

Thanks for all the other suggestions and will try them out and see what's best. I may even do a poll later Wink
