Rhubarb and Custard were my fav's.
This is the sweet shop close to my office... shame the prices aren't so Olde Worlde!

Pontefract cakes  (licquorice rounds, about the size of a 50p )
blackjacks  (4 a 1d)
Home made toffee apples, with coconut on the toffee
home made pink and white coconut slab  (can`t remember the name)
1d gobstoppers  (last for a week, if you were careful !)
oranges and lemons  (used to eat the oranges and give the lemons to my mates)

I used to like the sherbet you could buy by the bag - so you could get a mixture of colours in your bag with a piece of liquorice to dip in for 2d!
4 toffee chews for a old  1d,  1p  sticky lollipops, and of course 1d chocolate bars!
Used to call at the sweetshop after going with my Mum to Co-op for groceries and she would get fed up of me trying to decide what I was spending my 6d on................... you just had so much to choose from....................................

yup -1 and snowing here, plus a hole in the ground job with the wife's ex motherinlaw, have to get out some Menthol and Eucalyptus sucks

Finally managed to get my hands on some Cadbury Wispas a couple of months ago.
Fonf mrmories of being a kid came flooding back.
Am also a fan of the King size Mars bar.  Smiley
