Be worth logging into your Paypal account direct to make sure your account is ok, not sure but I think Paypal may have some sort of system where you can report these fraudlant e-mails.

as a point of interest... Paypal do not send messages addressed "Dear Member".

Logged into account normal way via eBay link and all details look fine

As Shutter said the dead give away is "Dear Member,".
Paypal emails always refer to its members by name.

I get loads of this type of email - If it contains a zip file, bin it. If it contains a link and the URL bears no relationship to the supposed sender then bin it.

They've never once addressed me as member, user, subscriber etc.

It has all the usual graphics AND the statement saying that PP will always address you by your full name.
