Storms on Way

A Yellow weather warning has been issued by the Met Office as Storm Clodagh moves towards the UK. The storm has been named by the Irish weather service. In Essex we have had a blustery night and I wouldn't be surprised to find some trees down when I go out later.

I've clocked 24mph today.....not too bad compared to 38mph in January.

Re: Storms on Way

Wind was very strong last night and this morning in Lancashire, there are woods near us and the wind creates a right racket, no doubt there will be reports of damage due to this weather.
At least it's not that cold.

Re: Storms on Way

Been rather windy here too, calmed down mostly now, but looks like more rain's due, even seems to be a possibility of a snow shower tonight too (not that it'd stick)...

Re: Storms on Way

Our church lost a ridge tile which was found on the path this morning. I'll probably have to arrange a visit to see where it came from an ensure nothing else will fall on a passer by  Embarrassed
