Re: Stop Complaining about a Little Snow

All I'm going to say is that by taking the course I did it gave me a thorough enough grounding in the operation of business to understand how IT supports the functions of a business.
I feel that a lot of people in IT get carried away with 'cool' technology without thinking about whether or not it supports the business they work for.

I have snow chains for my vehicle as I have used it in the pass to drive to ski resorts unfortunately I would still get stuck in the UK behind cars that have not.

Re: Stop Complaining about a Little Snow

Don't see many studded tyres in ski resorts. In fact have done 3 weeks skiing this season and have not seen any car fitted with them. Seen plenty with winter tyres or normal tyres with chains. Studded tyres are mostly used for ice racing.

Re: Stop Complaining about a Little Snow

Well round here the forecast is for light snow.
Well its coming down but light isn't how I'd describe it.
As for ice racing, where tracks have been made by vehicles there appears to be ice so seems perfect to me or maybe a combination of both.
@Strat very true, would rather have snow than bushfires and the sick little ******** that go round relighting the ones that have been put out which they politely term firebugs.
