Spring Forward.....

On Sunday the clocks go forward an hour as we move into British Summer Time.

It will be nice to get the longer evenings so we can get outside more, even if it is only in the garden.

We've enjoyed some great weather so far this week so let's hope it continues. We need it to cheer us up during the present lockdown.

Re: Spring Forward.....

But if you ignore what a timepiece says, the evenings can be whenever you want them to, because the earth's rotation and orbit around the sun are a constant, making clock fiddling a pointless practice... 😁

Re: Spring Forward.....

Don't they know there's a national emergency?

We can't afford to lose an hour at a time like this!  😉

The older I get, the earlier it gets late.

Re: Spring Forward.....

It's not something I'm going to bother rushing to do this year.

It's not as if I'm going anywhere never mind "on time". There's not even anything on telly worth watching that I may miss if I forget to adjust the clocks.

How about catching a bus? (that doesn't run hourly)

Re: Spring Forward.....

I've given up going round changing the clocks. The kitchen one is now the correct one and the living room one is now an hour behind.

Works for us Wink

At work the handheld terminals we use are always an hour out after teh clocks change - eventually after 3 months they manage to correct them.. we've all just got used to it.

I need a new signature... i'm bored of the old one!
