Spot the difference!!!

Disregard the obvious difference of size one of these bottles is different in three ways to the other two but the third difference is not visible in this photo (so you'll have to guess that one).

Can you work out what they are?

Re: Spot the difference!!!

Still looking for the plot eh? Grin

And the middle one is missing the royal warrant, slightly smaller, and probably has a different recipe sauce...

Re: Spot the difference!!!

They were all / are all the same price when bought and as noted the royal warrant and colour.

I did say to disregard size... but you're bang on the other two points.

And thats the other point.

Yesterday i had a massive spat on the phone with Heinz about this. They deny there is any difference in recipe but could not answer how the non royal warrant version is always cheaper, thinner and tastes different than the traditional thicker version with the warrant. It isn't often that I manage to get both versions next to each other like that to point out the colour and warrant differences.

As a lifetime fan of heinz ketchup I feel it is my duty to spread the word as far as possible about this terrible cheaper version of ketchup that you would think is the same as the normal version - because its Heinz.

Someday I'll make my own ketchup, not that I use a lot of it to be honest, I just want to do it to say that I had done it...

Try Aldi's ketchup, you might be pleasantly surprised.

Re: Spot the difference!!!

That's what I have now.

I gave up on all the old home brands as they've changed so much.

In the misguided effort to make them more healthy those wonderful original tastes have gone.

Re: Spot the difference!!!

@w23 - thanks, but I really only like tomatoes au naturel! I could eat raw tomatoes until the cows come home but, cooked tomatoes -YUK!

SWMBO often buys great big 'uns and stuffs them with fishy stuff - luvely!
