I saw that on the news this morning.
Apparently the fine is based on how far over the speed limit you were and how much you can afford. Undecided

Hardly as I ran a courier service for over 20 years and, as I still had work, carried on until I was 70.
I've always tried to drive sensibly so, despite clocking 60,000 miles a year, for many years, I've still never had a point n my licence  Smiley
I will admit to doing over 100mph on M1 in an open sports car  Smiley That was about 50 years ago when it was legal and not many cars could do that speed.
