Re: Southwest Airlines Plane lands on one engine

Well done indeed, although these planes are designed to fly on one engine and it's all part of a pilot's training? Scary all the same.

Re: Southwest Airlines Plane lands on one engine

Southwest is one of the biggest of America's budget airlines and has a good safety record. Other budget airlines around the world, including Easyjet, have based their busuness model on them.

All credit to the flight crew and cabin crew for a job well done in bringing the palne to the ground safely.
