I have always had great service form Plusnet and I would still recommend them but this is totally ridiculous, and some form of action needs to be taken.

Fire the manager! This has been a known problem for too long. If the PN Executive have starved him/her of resources and the manager has requested more resource it will be grounds for unfair dismissal.

the remove of the ticket system has resulted in people having no choice but to use the phone.
even the online chat for me the other day resulted in a 1hr 30min wait to get to speak to someone.

These firms want the profits without providing the service, short term it works, long term it will prove a disaster.

Also I suppose you could add that given the plethora of comments regarding the lack of information from Plusnet regarding known issues affecting the network might not help these numbers. How many of them are in the queue only to be told "It's a known issue and work is being carried out to resolve it". I know there are service notices posted, but it would appear that they're not posted often enough.

I reckon I have spent a full day over the last 4 weeks with no internet due to openreach doing a 21C network upgrade, which hopefully will be resolved next week. It took over 2 weeks before PN would accept it was a broadband fault and not a phone line fault. Plusnet used to be so good and of the ten broadband customers on our island six are with plusnet due to my recommendation, starting to wish I hadn't.
