I seem to remember it being pointed out in the past that while smokey bacon was suitable for vegetarians cheese & onion wasn't!

Cheese & Onion definitely are, because I have them. As for this change I'm not bothered. I'm not interested in anything meat or meat flavoured, thanks (never understood veggies who were happy to eat such things).

Well I did say "in the past". It turns out that it may be in the more distant past than I imagined!
