Social Media - Description

I really liked this http://www.thinkbroadband.com/news/7669-house-of-lords-report-on-growing-up-with-the-internet.html

Many of the tools for ensuring that online social media does not become a drunken corner of a local bar with all the problems that brings are more critically needed in the adult world than the world of those under the age of 18.

Re: Social Media - Description

Well it's a bigger can of worms than the printing press ever was - and that took the world five hundred years to get to grips with it's power whereas the www internet has taken what, twenty?

Amazing eh.

I know where I am, I've been lost here before.

Re: Social Media - Description

The expression "Drunk as a Lord" springs to mind.

It's been all down hill since they taught the common man to read; such activities should ovbiously only be for the priesthood, and preferably in Latin.
