So why can't you shave in a sauna?

I was in the gym and like every other sauna i've been in a sign was up 'No shaving in the sauna'.
But why not? Aside from i wouldn't want to watch someone shaving.
Dare not google it, who knows what it'll return

I don't shave......................... 
I don't go in saunas................
I don't go to Jim gym either............

At a guess the reason is that the effect of a sauna is to dilate the blood vessels and nicking them with a razor could be rather messy - not to mention the risk of getting Aids or something equally nasty from coming into contact with contaminated blood.

Not forgetting that it would be fairly unattractive to have a sauna with shaving foam/stubble on the floor too.
