Snooker in HD

Don't remember the world championship being on BBC HD last year.
But am I alone in finding no discernible difference between SD and HD on the tables?

Re: Snooker in HD

I definitely CAN see a difference.
If I look.  Huh
Doesn't make any difference though, a small shiny ball is a small shiny ball.
It's not like you're looking at the hairs on it.  Roll eyes

I don't recall it being on HD last year; haven't watched any yet this year
Can't believe this wasn't called a foul

Re: Snooker in HD

As I've seen before it's usually the player who calls his own foul before the ref gets a chance to open his mouth.
In fact I saw one such situation a couple of days ago.

Is the Crucible in a good part of Sheffield? HD make the area shabby.

@itsme It's in the centre of town near the town hall but I'm not sure if you could call that a good part Undecided
The Crucible has just recently undergone a complete refit.
