Re: Smart Toothbrush

Look at the RRP in Strat's lInk.  The early adopters were paying £229.99!  I think the current price is probably the lowest it will ever be.

Re: Smart Toothbrush

its for those who need a phone to gadget setting a toothbrush .... I watched a demo of how to set one up in a boots store last year and thought what an epic waste of time and money it was, who needs a toothbrush that requires your smartphone to function, I keep things like phones out of the bathroom so I don't end up dropping them down the loo ...

Re: Smart Toothbrush

really ? I thought the point of stockings was you went out with £20 and bought a bunch of naff novelty items and a bag of chocolate money and left it on the end of the bed for your child/partner/houseguest to open in the morning and either think they were the luckiest person alive or double up laughing at the stuff they received, not yet another excuse to make yourself into a pauper by putting lavish items into them...
@strat,
yeah the whole IoT stuff is a great idea and it could be hugely useful in say an intergalactic space ship but the practicalities of something connected to the internet that can be accessed by outside sources and messed about with for someone else's amusement doesn't really flick my switch, its bad enough theres almost no 4k/3d TV's available without a built in camera which have a cmr above 200hz and a response rate of under 10ms...... I cant understand why someone would want even more gadgets that can spy on everything they do in every room of the house .....

No, it was a joke lol there's no way I would be shelling out on one of them for myself let alone a stocking filler lol.

Re: Smart Toothbrush

Toothbrush connected via the Internet of Things and monitored by your dentist.  SMS texts generated at 1:00 am to remind you to brush your teeth.
Now Zen, but a +Net residue.

Re: Smart Toothbrush

Maybe if someone needs a smart toothbrush they shouldn't even be allowed in the bathroom alone Wink
