Slushy Cards

Does anyone else think that Christmas Cards/Birthday Cards have "too slushy" writings inside them?  OR.... Do you "actually" talk to your wife, in the terms of endearment{?} expressions used in them?
I find it very difficult to find a card that says what I want ..... and a blank card, does not have the same "impact" on  `er indoors, when I try and write my own words inside.

Re: Slushy Cards

I have mine printed for me with a very simple salutation - Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.  That covers all eventualities Wink

Re: Slushy Cards

family ones i use funky pigeon to get ones printed, it's more personal and usually cheaper than shop bought ones.

Re: Slushy Cards

We cheat'; we've given each other the same cards for the last ten years or more (birthday and anniversary too) they are rather nice cards though.
Other family and friends get new cards (usually Heart Foundation charity)
Experience; is something you gain, just after you needed it most.

When faced with two choices, simply toss a coin. It works not because it settles the question for you. But because in that brief moment while the coin is in the air. You suddenly know what you are hoping for.
