Sloppy programme timing on BBC

Anybody else noticed how the BBC, once renowned for impeccable time keeping and scheduling, is now being "sloppy", presumably to gain an advantage over ITV...
Every night they programme "The One Show".... to start at 7.00 pm.  but in actual fact, the programme always starts at 6.57pm...
Do they really think that they will get viewers "hooked" enough by starting the programme 3 minutes before Emmerdale...... HA HA HA HA HA  Grin

Re: Sloppy programme timing on BBC

It's probably on Central Manchester time as the BBC flees the Capital.
Now Zen, but a +Net residue.

Re: Sloppy programme timing on BBC

So, How do you catch up with the missed start of Emmerdale then.?  Do you program your PVR for the repeat early next morning?  Huh

Re: Sloppy programme timing on BBC

I did say inteligent, my only connection with Emerdale was a long time ago when I stayed in Ketlewell and walked up and over the Cam Road to Starbotton, we were told at that time that Emmerdales was filmed there

and even my PVR... finnish time.

I'd have thought that'd catch the start but miss the end as Finland is an hour ahead Grin
