Re: Sky get sticky paws on F1

It's a shame... we are really running out of sport on FTA TV.
Ah well guess it will end one of the squabbles about what gets watched..

Re: Sky get sticky paws on F1

Sitting here watching Practice1, but I'll not pay Sky, so I guess it's just the "highlights" for me in future.  Cry
Or a few beers round at my F1 maniac mates house who has Sky?  Grin

Re: Sky get sticky paws on F1

If the half the races that we'll still get live are from Europe it'll not be quite so bad.
I suppose that with their budget restraints BBC just couldn't afford to go it alone any longer.
Will Martin Brundle and DC go to Sky?

Quote
Races shown live on BBC TV will include the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, the Monaco GP and the concluding race of the season.

At least they've allowed the BBC to screen the British race live...how kind Roll eyes
I still point blank refuse to get a Sky box.

Re: Sky get sticky paws on F1

Sky has big pockets and can afford to outbid the BBC every time. It's a pity really Sad

I love watching cricket but there is just no way am I giving that disgusting man any of my money. I have to admit I was hoping (wishing) that with all the recent revelations that Sky would be adjudged to be not an appropriate company to show Test matches and that they would revert back to FTA. I know……some hopes really
