Should we have a Golden/Silver (just for old jim) Oldies forum?

Following some comments in today's nostalgic posts.
Experience; is something you gain, just after you needed it most.

When faced with two choices, simply toss a coin. It works not because it settles the question for you. But because in that brief moment while the coin is in the air. You suddenly know what you are hoping for.

well they are either up at that time, or still in bed - as it is Saturday and you don't need to get to Sainsburys at crack of dawn like you used to before retirement!  because now you can go any day! Grin

Totally wrong - it's really because the latest incontinence pads work better than the old ones did  Grin

I don`t think it is so much getting up to go to sainsburys..... as most of the "golden oldies" can`t afford Sainsbury`s prices,    so they stay in bed until Aldi`s or Lidl`s open at 9 am Grin  Grin  Grin  Grin

That is not valid on a Saturday Shutter - you need to go to Aldi's/lidl on a Sunday or Thursday or Netto Mondays or Thursday as that is when the bargains are in! Roll eyes

Can I remind you guys, that when I set the poll I allowed your vote to be changed (New Labour please take note) so if you're wavering now in the light of this and other intellectual exchanges by the enlightened generation, please feel free to do so.
