I've just been to Tesco, believe it or not to do some food shopping.
At every turn as I walked round the store with my trolley I encountered groups of women complete with trolleys, stood gossiping.
My trolley got progressively heavier and therefore more difficult to navigate round the aisles.
The last things I needed were chattering obstacles at every turn.
It's a shop for crying out loud not a [-Censored-]ing social club.
There's a coffee shop in the corner of the store.
Go there!!

I hear you!
Also, just back from Aldi and here's food for thought. A 500g packet of peanuts, 99p. Trundle with the trolley round to the other side of the aisle and what do we see? Aldi's 'special buy' 450g packet of peanuts for 1.99p.
You do the maths, and let's be careful out there

My pet hate is when someone parks a trolley lengthwise against the shelves blocking access to the good for everyone else.
Maybe they should fit bells on trolleys

A bell?
If some of those old fogeys we see cluttering up the aisles are as Mutt and Jeff as this one, you'd need an air horn!

Sounds sensible to me. Go and buy a packet of crisps, and then go for a stroll on that beach. Better than paying a pound and hour to park elsewhere!

But it's for Tesco customers only!
Seriously though, a bigger bug are those that park in disabled bays or those reserved for shoppers with children. Now that is really annoying. And those that use Tesco's petrol stations, fill up the car, and then leave it in front of the pump while they do a bit of shopping inside before paying for their fuel. What's all that about? Grrrr.
And why no special bays for pensioners?

In a supermarket I find that if there is not someone in my way then I am in someone else's way.

Yes, too much time on their hands.
I have no time to stand around chatting, far to much to do.
Our Aldi has a maximum of 90 minutes parking rule, other supermarkets should do the same... be no time for chatting then.
