Shock horror!...Hold the front page!...Stop press...!

This morning, I witnessed a cyclist stop and wait at a red traffic light... Shocked
Please pass the smelling salts...

When faced with two choices, simply toss a coin. It works not because it settles the question for you. But because in that brief moment while the coin is in the air. You suddenly know what you are hoping for.

Its another 12 days to April the first, otherwise I would agree that this would be the unlikeliest story you've heard in many a long day...

Mind you it is the Spring Solecist today, so perhaps the reason for this aberration.

It always amuses me when you see a cyclist stopped and wobbling about trying to keep upright, when a simple foot on the ground does the same, in a sane way. Those that actually STOP at crossings/junctions/traffic lights etc  Crazy Lips are sealed

Re: Shock horror!...Hold the front page!...Stop press...!

And just out of curiosity is it legal for cyclists to cycle on the pavement ? also is there no legal requirement for cyclists to have a bell on their bikes.
Please note I am not anti-cyclist, there would be a lot more fitter people if we could increase the number of people using bikes but several times whilst walking along the pavement cyclists have passed me at considerable speed with no warning and I hate to think what the outcome might have been if at the second of passing me I stepped to one side to avoid something on the pavement ?
