Not sure what the plural of Sharpie is !
In 2005, I bought 20x Sharpie Fine Point Pens in San Francisco for $10
I had previously used them a lot, and the quality had always been excellent.
Finally, after 9 years, I only have two remaining, and in use.
They have never dried out, only run out of ink through use.
And after quite a while too, probably around 6 months of my usage.
I do store them horizontal, or slight tip down in a small box
This morning, Tesco were selling Sharpie Fine Point Pens packs of 5 for £3, half price.
Made in France though, I presume the SF ones were made in USA.
Lots of different EU languages on the back of the packaging.
The SF ones have Sanford written on them, but todays only have Sanford on the sealed packet.
Apart from that everything else looks the same. Less writing on todays pens though.
Before I opened them, I did an Internet check, and it would appear Modern Sharpie have a poor shelf life, and dry out quickly in use, so am unsure whether to keep them.
Though some users have no problem with ink drying out.
Reviews here...
Exactly the same packaging.

At least with Tesco, their returns policy I have found to be excellent, even on opened and used items.
They take my word that there is a problem.
I also have other permanent markers, all ok, but the tip on the Sharpie is better for my main use.
Does anyone have experience of recent Sharpie Fine Point Pens ?

OK, I bit the Bullet.
Most of the negative comments seemed to be Pens DOA
So I opened up the Blister packs, and did a quick test of all the pens.
All 10 were OK, and good quality fine writing.
For long term storage, I inserted the Pens back into the blister packs, upside down, so I can suspend them tip down.
Simpler than putting them into a container, and I keep the packaging in case of a problem in the future.
