Seen written in the dust on the back of a vehicle:

Sample:
"If voting could really change things, it would be illegal"
Bit of a philosophical gem that!!
Experience; is something you gain, just after you needed it most.

When faced with two choices, simply toss a coin. It works not because it settles the question for you. But because in that brief moment while the coin is in the air. You suddenly know what you are hoping for.

Re: Seen written in the dust on the back of a vehicle:

Instead of dust, there used to be a series of rear screen stickers: the IT series, which some of could be quite amusing. Made life worth living sometimes to have something to read when stuck in traffic jams in central London...
Samples:
Glider pilots do IT quietly
Squash players do IT up against a wall
There were many others, nobody ever defined what IT was, but many had a damn good idea.
Then there were the I love (insert red heart shape, instead of word love) series:
I love NY
I love London
However, I love West Bromwich doesn't have quite the same air of romance, unless you do of course.

Re: Seen written in the dust on the back of a vehicle:

I saw one once that said "Baby on Board" [which is quite normal] but then continued to say "rapid evacuation may be required!" - I found it quite distracting! Smiley

I'd be more comfortable, and probably safer, in a child seat.....

"Baby on Board"

When I see this sign in the back of a car I think 'So what, I wasn't planning on running into you anyway'.
Then it occurs to me, maybe the baby is driving the car Shocked

Funny, that's what cynical old me usually thinks as well.....
It's just pointless, as there are really only 3 plausible meanings:
1. I'm fertile and proud of it
2. It's my pathetic excuse for bad driving
3. You're all rubbish drivers and the guilty thought of crashing into my child will magically reform you.

Just think what would happen if you had a 'Mother-in-Law On Board' sign.

Re: Seen written in the dust on the back of a vehicle:

I saw one of those in Cornwall a few years ago, Strat.....  Grin How about those converted Luton vans with "HORSES" painted on the front?  Roll eyes  Yeh!?  so what? Is it a warning? or is it a "brag"  Quite honestly I don`t care what a lorry has inside it..... you don`t see farmers with landrovers and trailers with "SHEEP"  or "COWS"  on the front.  and buses don`t have signs painted on them saying "PEOPLE".... (ok so they do have signs for Children when on school runs)  And most of the time the 4 x 4 with the Baby on board hasn`t got any kids in it anyway...  Undecided
I vote we go back to the late 60`s and put "Jack and Jill"  (or whoever is in the car at the time) on the sun visors, and leave them hanging down.... Grin Cheesy
